CONSCIOUS CONNECTED BREATH
Some things won't be talked loose.
You can understand exactly why you do something and still do it. Insight is not the same as release, and breath reaches places language keeps missing.
THE SHAPE OF IT
Roughly an hour, and you never do it alone.
BEFORE
We talk first
What's bringing you, what you'd like room for, anything in your health history I should know. I explain the pattern and we agree on how you'll signal me if you want to slow down or stop. You always can.
DURING
You lie down and breathe
An active, connected breath set to music, and my voice guiding the pace throughout. Your job is to keep breathing. Mine is everything else: the timing, the music, the room, and staying with whatever arrives.
AFTER
We land properly
Stillness, water, and time to come back before you go anywhere. We'll talk about what came up if you want to, or leave it be. Most people want a quiet evening afterward.
A MUCH SMALLER VERSION
This is a settling breath — in for four, out for six. The longer exhale is what tells your nervous system it can stand down, and it's the same principle underneath everything I do, just at a much lower dose.
It is not the journey pattern. That one is active, continuous, and needs someone in the room with you. This is a taste of being paced by another person rather than by your own head.
Stop any time, and don't push. Lightheaded means slow down, not carry on — that's true here and in a journey.
You can try being guided right now.
WHAT COMES UP
Different every time, including for the same person.
I can't tell you what you'll find, and I'd be suspicious of anyone who says they can. What I can tell you is the range of what people describe.
- Heat
- Tingling in the hands
- Shaking
- Tears
- Laughter
- Waves of grief
- Old anger, finally moving
- A memory you'd forgotten you were carrying
- Images and color
- A stillness you haven't felt in years
- Sometimes, not much at all
That last one isn't a failure. A body that stays guarded is a body telling you something true about where it is right now, and it's worth listening to rather than overriding.
WAYS TO DO IT
On your own, or with others.
ONE TO ONE
Individual journeys
My whole attention, and a pace built entirely around you. This is the right starting place if you're carrying something specific, if groups make you self-conscious, or if you'd simply rather not be witnessed the first time.
Available as a standalone session, or alongside our therapy work when we've reached the edge of what words are doing.
DURING
Group journeys
There's something a nervous system learns in company that it can't learn alone — that other people are also shaking, also crying, also fine afterward. Groups stay small on purpose.
Held seasonally, sometimes outdoors. No one has to share anything at the end.
So grateful for this experience — brought me back to what really matters and my true self. Amazing release of stress!

I had an amazing Breathwork experience and was able to unlock and integrate some significant childhood experiences that were getting in the way of my best version of self. I’m so thankful for Milena and her team for their guidance through this journey.
Maria C.
From the moment I walked in, I felt safe, supported, and cared for. Milena guided us with so much compassion that I was able to release emotions I didn't even realize I was carrying. I left feeling lighter, more peaceful, and more connected to myself.
Emily M.
I am beyond grateful for Milena and the safe, empowering space she creates. She has helped me move beyond fear and worry while encouraging me to recognize and build on my strengths. I’ve gained clarity and taken meaningful steps toward a life that feels more meaningful and rewarding.
Elisabeth M.
Milena is absolutely fantastic. The way she explains things is simple yet complex. My life today is exponentially better because of my 18 months seeing Milena. Highly recommend her to anyone.
RJ + Family
Milena creates a safe, supportive space where I always feel heard, understood, and never judged. She helps me recognize my spiral thought patterns much earlier, so instead of feeling overwhelmed, I am learning to respond with awareness and confidence.

BEFORE YOU BOOK
A few things to know before we begin
Tell me first if any of these apply
You're pregnant
You have a cardiovascular condition, or high blood pressure that isn't well controlled
You have epilepsy or a seizure disorder
You have glaucoma or retinal detachment
You have a history of psychosis or a diagnosis of bipolar disorder
You've had recent surgery, or a recent injury that makes lying flat difficult
Things people worry about that are fine
You've never done anything like this before. Most people haven't.
You're not spiritual, or you're actively allergic to that language. Neither is required.
You don't think you'll be able to "let go." You don't have to. You only have to keep breathing.
You might cry in front of someone. You might. It's a normal Tuesday in this room.
You don't know whether you want therapy, a journey, or both. That's what the call is for.

Frequently asked questions
-
Therapy works largely through language and understanding. Breathwork bypasses language almost entirely. They do different jobs, which is exactly why they work well together and why a journey can move something you've already talked about at length.
-
Yes, and many of my clients do. We'd usually reach for it when we've hit the edge of what talking is doing, or when something is clearly held in the body and won't come forward any other way.
-
Eat lightly beforehand rather than heavily, wear something you can lie down comfortably in, and give yourself a soft landing afterward if you can, no back-to-back meetings. That's genuinely it.
-
Then we stop. We agree on a signal before we start, and using it is treated as good information about where your system is, not as a session gone wrong.
-
Breathwork journeys are generally not a billable service, so they're private pay. If you're an existing therapy client, we can talk about how the two fit together and what makes sense financially.
GETTING STARTED
Start with a conversation,
not a booking form.
Fifteen minutes by phone. You tell me what's drawing you to this, I'll tell you honestly whether a journey is the right way in or whether something else would serve you better first.
